Often when people visit a new church it can make you feel a little anxious…what to wear, where to park, what about the kids…we’ve asked those same questions too. Please know we will do our best to make your Rockledge UMC experience welcoming and worry free. We look forward to meeting you!

What to wear?

What you wear isn’t nearly as important as who you are. Choose what makes you comfortable. "Church clothes", business casual or even flip flops and jeans is fine if you prefer.

Where to park?

When you drive into the parking lot, there are some prime parking spots saved for visitors and persons with disabilities in front of the Fellowship Hall, to the left of the sidewalk that leads to the Sanctuary. You can also park behind the sanctuary if you prefer.

 On your way in…

You will meet our greeters when you walk through the doors, please feel free to let them know if you need help finding your way around.

What about the kids?

Children are very important to us and we strive to create a safe environment for them to learn about God’s love. All of the children’s ministry volunteers have been background checked and trained so that your child will have a safe and fun experience here. The Nursery/Pre-school area (newborns-pre-K) in Rooms 1 & 2 is available from 9 a.m. through the end worship service, about 11:30 a.m. Rooms 1 and 2 are located in the East/West Educational Building behind the Fellowship Hall. Yadi and other volunteers look forward to caring for your kids. Check out the Children & Youth Page for more information.

What happens when I come in the Narthex?

Greeters will greet you, help you get a name tag and invite you to enjoy the worship service at 10:30 a.m.

What’s the service like?

Worship is designed to create an opportunity for you to connect with God. Words will be on the screen for you to follow along. Every Sunday we share in Holy Communion and everyone is welcome to participate. During worship we praise God by singing, pray, read the bible and we learn how to follow Jesus through the weekly message.
